Angie is a life-long resident of the Lowcountry of SC, with grocery and the food and beverage industry in her bones.  A graduate of Newberry College, Angie’s energetic, get-it-done style is contagious, and has helped many local businesses find their way across social media, public relations, sponsorships, customer loyalty, promotions and events in addition to tapping into her retail expertise to develop strategy for clients and the best route of success to the hands of consumers.

At Piggly Wiggly Carolina, Angie was responsible for developing and growing the company’s Local Product Initiative, helping locally produced products find their way to market.  Angie served as a marketing consultant to many small companies just getting started, helping them manage their limited resources and promote their products in-store and through Piggly Wiggly sponsored events.  Many of those companies now enjoy distribution of their products in multiple grocery chains across a larger footprint, thanks to the initial help, support and continued guidance she provided.

Angie also managed all aspects of the company’s most successful venture, its upscale Newton Farms store banner, including branded products and promotion across web, social and media relations.  She also managed The Pig’s sponsorship and charitable giving programs, customer service, and was instrumental in the redesign of its Greenbax customer loyalty program.

Angie knows how to keep a lot of balls in the air – managing marketing events and activities for a portfolio of eight restaurants at Holy City Hospitality.  And she’s been part of a winning team at GillznFinz Television (n/k/a Catch Multimedia), developing Emmy-Award winning television and web programming.

Angie is a strong supporter of local products, and a passionate advocate for supporting community and local businesses.
